At this time in July 2024, we emphasize the significance of meticulous document review and expert collaboration. Currently, we are receiving substantial document productions from defendants and are actively engaging our chemical experts to conduct analytical testing on some of the most widely used hair relaxer products. This effort aims to identify all potentially carcinogenic chemicals contained within these products, reinforcing our case with robust scientific evidence.
A considerable portion of our efforts has been dedicated to addressing the purported deficiencies in Plaintiff Fact Sheets (PFSs) as alleged by the defendants. We understand that these court-ordered questionnaires are complex and require meticulous attention to detail, and we urge our clients to respond promptly and thoroughly when contacted by our team.
The court has recently dismissed a significant number of other cases where the necessary corrections to these PFSs were not made, which has prompted defendants to scrutinize these documents even more rigorously.
